It wasn't much of a day. It was day 2 of Jen's art seminar. She's spending hours in classes on various art topics and loving it, so Ida has been mine.
Not many pictures today. We're closing in on the last few days of school. We were supposed to have an 8th-grade promotion online meeting for Edgar's online school, but there were last minute technical difficulties. So, Edgar is not officially a high schooler yet?
Afterwards, Edgar and I went to the theater to watch Fast X -- yes, the TENTH Fast and Furious movie. If you haven't seen the first 9, don't bother. If you have seen them, yes, it's completely awesome. And off-the-rails. And awesome. We smuggled in candy and had a grand time.
Came home and napped, and my parents showed up with Safeway chinese food and farm-fresh strawberries. Yum strawberry shortcake yum.
We had some guys from church (Ministering Brothers) come over and help this evening. I've decided that I'm too old and fat to work on our roof. That's a job for a teenager. Our teenagers have too much anxiety to go to high places, so I have to rely on the kindness of others. Betty expressed some interest in getting on the roof, though. Maybe in a few years.
Anyway, they did a super awesome job getting the moss off our roof and cleaning our gutters (which were being mosquito breeding grounds). I am super grateful and unworthy of the awesome service.
A few random pictures from Jen's phone:
Jen made Ida this poster to stare at. I'm skeptical, but apparently babies see black and white better than color. I don't know about that, but Jen hardly needs an excuse to make a poster. And she's talented.
Not looking much at all like baby Sabrina (about 1 year old there)
